EPA Grant Background

The Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI) has received funding for the second fiscal year of a three-year award from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the result of a highly competitive open grant competition focused on reducing public exposure to indoor pollutants. The second year of an anticipated three-year project will allow for two simultaneous technical assistance activities - business development and reimbursement support, which will allow GHHI to provide support to 1) develop and implement asthma home visiting programs providing comprehensive environmental health services, 2) and increase Medicaid funding for these interventions.
