The SuperKids Asthma & Allergy Camp is a one week program for children diagnosed with asthma and allergies who have finished grades 1-6. The children benefit from close contact with other children who are similarly afflicted with asthma and allergies. Each child learns about asthma and allergy management through games, crafts, outdoor activities including swimming, an Asthma Olympics, and other fun activities from experienced health care professionals. The camp is a safe, medically supervised environment that fosters understanding and self-management of the disease without negative peer pressure.

Asthmania Academy helps children with asthma and the people who care for them. We are the second program in the nation and the first in the Southeast to receive ASME certification from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC). Our goal is to work with patients, families and physicians to improve asthma control. Asthmania Academy's specialized staff includes certified asthma educators (AE-C), pediatric hospitalists and certified pulmonary function technologists (CPFT) who can assess asthma control, perform diagnostic studies and provide recommendations based on nationally-recognized asthma management guidelines.
